RoundMeet: Dating — Da Nang Event & Community Lead
Part-time contract role · ~20 hours/week · Da Nang, Vietnam
RoundMeet: Dating is a new dating platform that combines online matching with structured, in-person dating events.
We’re looking for someone in Da Nang to help build the local operation from the ground up. This is not just an event-hosting role. You’ll work closely with the founder to develop the concept, promote the events, support participants, and eventually take ownership of running RoundMeet: Dating in Da Nang.
What you’ll do
Initially, we’ll work closely together on most aspects of the events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Help organize approximately two RoundMeet: Dating events per week
- Research and coordinate suitable venues
- Prepare venues before each event
- Welcome and check in participants
- Explain how RoundMeet works and help people get comfortable
- Host the events and make sure everything runs smoothly
- Answer questions and support participants before and between events
- Help promote upcoming events and attract new participants
- Build relationships with venues, communities, and local partners
- Share feedback from participants and help improve the RoundMeet: Dating platform and event format
- Work closely with the founder on improving how the overall experience works
Who we’re looking for
You should be:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new people
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English
- Organized, reliable, and able to take responsibility
- Comfortable hosting groups and speaking in front of people
- Interested in dating, relationships, community building, or helping people meet
- Based in Da Nang and familiar with the city
Previous experience organizing or hosting events is a plus, but not required.
Marketing, hospitality, community management, social media, or similar experience would also be useful.
Compensation
The role will initially be paid hourly plus commission, at approximately 20 hours per week.
In the beginning, we’ll work closely together while developing the format, choosing venues, testing marketing approaches, and learning what works.
The goal, however, is for you to gradually take much more ownership of RoundMeet: Dating in Da Nang. As the events become established, the role can transition toward a more independent, performance- and commission-based model.
More than a part-time event job
This is an opportunity to help build something from an early stage.
Rather than joining an established operation and simply following a checklist, you’ll have a direct role in shaping how RoundMeet: Dating works in Da Nang—how events are organized, marketed, hosted, and improved.
If it works well, you could eventually become the person responsible for growing and running RoundMeet: Dating in Da Nang.
