Is this just speed dating?
Not quite.
Traditional speed dating puts a group of strangers together and lets everyone meet everyone.
RoundMeet starts online. You first choose the people you're interested in, and mutual interest is established before you're scheduled to meet.
Does everyone I meet already like me?
Yes.
Everyone you're scheduled to talk to has already said they'd like to meet you, and you've said the same about them.
Can I see everyone who liked me?
No.
RoundMeet isn't designed around collecting likes or measuring popularity. You'll know that the people you actually meet wanted to meet you.
Do I have to message people before the event?
No.
There is no pre-event messaging. If you're mutually interested, RoundMeet helps you meet in person.
Am I guaranteed a match?
No.
The point is to find someone you both genuinely want to continue dating, not to manufacture a match.
Can I match with several people?
No.
RoundMeet produces at most one match per person from an event.
What happens if I don't like anyone?
Nothing.
Being selective isn't penalized. You simply won't receive a match from that event.
What happens after I match?
You'll both receive each other's contact information and can communicate directly.
RoundMeet will occasionally check in to see how things are going.
Do I have to keep dating someone if I don't feel a connection?
A RoundMeet match means you're committing to giving the person a genuine chance over a few dates rather than making a snap decision.
Safety, inappropriate behavior or other serious concerns are always different.
How are profiles verified?
At an event, RoundMeet verifies your name and age using government-issued identification. Your profile can then be marked as verified.
