For the past 15 years, I worked as a software engineer at three different companies. During that time, I focused primarily on my job, even though I had many ideas I wanted to explore. My full-time roles were often demanding, leaving me without the time or energy to pursue side projects. Last year, I finally took the leap and left my job to dedicate myself full-time to bringing these ideas to life.
A few months ago, I began working on my first project, RelateWell, and I’ve already made significant progress. RelateWell will enter beta next month. As I’ve gotten deeper into this work, I realized the need to be more organized and intentional about sharing my progress with others. This realization led me to create a company and this website to house my projects.
The company name, Vinculor, was inspired by a suggestion from ChatGPT. It comes from the Latin word vincum, meaning bond or tie, a fitting name since many of my ideas focus on helping people come closer together.
Another goal of this website is to help me improve my writing. As a founder, I’m learning that communication—especially written communication—and marketing are essential skills. To develop these, I plan to regularly post blog entries, both to document my journey and keep myself accountable. My aim is to publish at least one blog post each week.
